Customs boat damaged by flare
The HMC 'Seeker' has been badly damaged by an arsonist on May 18, 2022, at 11 p.m. A small inflatable boat approached the customws vessel in Algecciras, and a flare was fired towards the boat, hitting the starboard side with an explosidion. The flare ripped throught the hull. A second one narrowly missed the vessel. The boat then sped off. The Royal Gibraltar Police was immediately informed, and a forensic team was deployed to investigate.
