Apparent suicide aboard luxury yacht in Boston
The police started investigating the apparent suicide of a crew member aboard the "Iroquois" of the Liverpool Football Club owner John Henry on June 3, 2013. The man, thought to be aged between 28 and 30, was found by firefighters and police in cardiac arrest. He was pronounced dead after rescuers could not revive him. The victim had been working on the vessel which was docked at Rowes Wharf in Boston, near the city’s financial district. Mr. Henry, who also owns the baseball team Boston Red Sox, had sought to sell the yacht for $ 28million A statement on the Red Sox website said: ‘Earlier today, a crew member on the vessel, M/Y Iroquois, apparently took his life aboard the vessel docked at 30 Rowes Wharf. Mr Henry and the members of the Boston Red Sox are saddened by the news and send deepest condolences to his family. Apparently only crew members were on board the vessel when the incident occurred.'
