HENRY LARSEN 8409329

Wed Apr 20 21:08:06 CEST 2011 Timsen

The "Henry Larsen" was summoned to the St. Anthony area on Arp 19, 2011, to help a stranded vessel. Around mid-day, the 50-foot-long fishing boat "Ocean Quell" had issued a distress call for immediate assistance. The vessel, which was located about 42 nautical miles east of St. Anthony, reported it was taking on water. The "Henry Larsen" and a Cormorant helicopter responded. Pumps were provided to the vessel, but the effort to dewater itwas unsuccessful. The five crewmembers abandoned ship, boarding the "Henry Larsen" for transport to St. Anthony.
