Grounding in Skutsvär
On Nov 10, 2019, at 3 a.m. the 'Helge' ran ashore at the port of Skutsvär. The ship had berthed in the port on Nov 9 at 10.15 a.m. and had unloaded a cargo of firewood at the Stora Enso. It was caught by blizzard like winds after cargo operations were finished, went adrift and got stuck off the terminal upon leaving the port bound to Russia. The 'Helge' was refloated on Nov 11. Salvage work started at 9 a.n. and was completed at 1 p.m. The ship was taken to Skutskär for surveys, but no leaks or damages were found. The Swedish Coast Guard launched a preliminary investigation. After a survey of the ship it finally left the port again on Nov 12 at 10.15 a.m., bound to Klaipeda with an ETA as of Nov 13, 3 p.m. Photos: https://bildix.mmcloud.se/bildix/api/images/37c03d9d-c76c-4556-8d3a-603f6b466da7.jpeg?fit=crop&w=1200 https://img11.ntm.eu/unt/public/img/5449420/1111190759/fartyget-helge-var-pa-vag-till?w=980&h=551&anchor=topcenter&bgcolor=222&scale=both
