Engine breakdown off Milos

The "Rochefort" sheltered in Waters off Milos island after an engine breakdown on Jan 10, 2016. The vessel was detained by the Milos maritime authorities until completing repairs and surveys.

Medevac off Douarnenez

On Mar 15, 20143, at 4:40 p.m. the "Rochefort", contacted the semaphore Cape de la Chèvre to report that a crew member was seriously ill with sharp chest pain. The semaphore immediately contacted the CROSS Corsen organizing a conference call between the Cross, the vessel and the SAMU 29. A medical helicopter evacuation was decided. The ship with eight crew members on board was at anchor in the Bay of Douarnenez. A Cayman helicopter of the Navy, based in Lanvéoc, took off at 4:50 p.m. with a medical team on board. The helicopter arrived at 5:20 p.m. and hoisted the sailor who was taken to the hospital Cavale Blanche in Brest, where he arried at 6.20 p.m.
