Allision at Ulsan

The asphalt tanker "Tasco Amarit" was in allision with the anchored "Hanyu Dream" at Ulsan anchorage on Aug 3, 2019, at 5.30 p.m. The bow and port side hull of the "Hanyu Dream" were indented and crushed. No injuries nor oil spill reported. The vessel left the Ulsan anchorage on Aug 4 at 09.45 a.m. and arrived in Busan on Aug 5. The "Tasco Amarit" sailed from Ulsan Anchorage on Aug 5 at 02.10 a.m. The accident happened while she was proceeding to the SK tank terminal, Ulsan for loading operations. The "Hanyu Dream", after completion of repairs, resumed its voyage on Aug 14. The "Tasco Amarit" sailed from Ulsan on Aug 13, bound for Bangkok to discharge of cargo and to carry out permanent repairs.
