Medevac off Stralsund
In the morning of Oct 21, 2013, a female passenger aboard the "Hansestadt Stralsund" suddenly lost conscience, and the captain requested urgent help while the ship was enroute Vitte-Stralsund. The lifeboat "Hertha Jeep" of the DGzRS-Station Stralsund was dispatched with a medical team on board and went alongside at 8.30 a.m. The patient could be stabilized so far that she could remain aboard the passenger m/v. The "Hertha Jeep" escorted the ship into the port of Stralsund where an ambulance was waiting for the further transport to a hospital.
