Diesel leak stopped ferry
A technical failure of the "Hamarøy" caused cancellations and delays on Sep 11, 2012. After a fuel pipe ruptured and diesel leaked out, the engine had to be shut down and the ferry had to be towed to Lødingen at midday by the ferry "Tysfjord" which was in the area and was requested for assistance. In Lødingen, two lifeboats safely docked the disabled ferry. Norwegian report with photo: http://www.an.no/nyheter/article6233126.ece
