Supply ship towed to Grenaa for reactivation
On Jne 27, 2022, the 'Maersk Tackler' left the port of Fredericia under tow of the tug 'Frigga', headed to Grenaa, where she was expected on June 28. But unlike the predecessors 'Maersk Attender', 'Maersk Helper' and 'Maersk Winner', which had been sold for scrapping at Fornæs in Grenaa, the 'Maersk Tackler', together with the 'Maersk Trimmer' - which departs later this week - have been sold for reactivation in Grenaa. Tugs dispatched to offshore vessel off Hundested
On Apr 29 the "Maersk Tackler" was assosted off Hundested with the Danish tugs "Bestla" (IMO: 8027779) and "Sigyn" (IMO: 9114361) and the pilot boat "Danpilot Hundested" (MMSI: 219001063) on site. The ship had entered the port o Fredericia on Apr 27 at 9.50 a.m. for surveys after the collision with the "Maersk Tracer" before moving on to Hundested the same day at 6.45 p.m. from where she sailed on Apr 29 at 9.20 a.m. The ship headed back to Fredericia then, ETA Mar 30.
Collision off Anholt
The "Maersk Tackler" was in collision with the "Maersk Tracer" off Anholt on Apr 26, 2016. The later was under tow when the engine of the "Maersk Tackler" failed and the "Maersk Tracer" slammed into the towing ship. Both ships have arrived in Fredericia, where the Danish Maritime Authority went on board for investigations and minor repairs were carried out.
