Disabled trawler towed to Torshavn

The "Qavak" was towed to Thorshavn by the "Thor" late on Aug 21 after having been disabled during fishing pelagic herring. The trawler was over 200 nautical miles northeast of Iceland when the engine broke down. Qavak disabled with fouled propeller, towed to safety by coast guard vessel Thor

Fishing vessel Qavak was disabled on Aug 21 due to fouled propeller north of Iceland. Coast Guard ship Thor was sent to assist, and towed Qavak finally to Porshofn, Iceland.
