reefer Green Crystal , which had earlier reported as not under command due to leakage of fuel pipe, changed status to under way, using engine. The vessel was monitored and confirmed that it was still under way using engine at 16.2 knots speed on a course of 211 deg.

Reefer Green Crystal (5084 gt, built 1992), en route from Ymuiden to Douala with 14 people on board, reported as not under command due to leakage of fuel pipe, 27 nautical miles southwest of The Needles, Isle of Wight, in position lat 50 13 01.2N, long 001 44 36.6W, at 0755 hrs, UTC, on July 6. The estimated time for completion of repairs is about two and a half to three hours. The vessel is carrying 4000 metric tonnes of Frozen Fish besides 377.1 metric tonnes of Heavy Oil and 84.9 Metric tonnes of Low Sulphur Fuel Oil as bunkers on board. The weather on site is: Wind: Variable Beaufort 3 or less, increasing to 4 at times; Sea State: Smooth, occasionally slight; Weather: Mainly fair; Visibility: Good.
