Grande Caribe declares Rockland its home port

Sat Jul 30 10:15:39 CEST 2016 arnekiel

In a ceremony July 29 at Journey's End Marina, Rockland returned to its seafaring past of providing home port services to passenger vessels with the inaugural embarkation of Blount Small Ship Adventure Line’s U.S. flagged ship, the Grande Caribe. The event celebrated the first commercial cruise ship to use Rockland as an originating port for a cruise since the resurgence of cruise visits to the Port of Rockland in 2009. The vessel, measuring 184 feet in length overall, made its maiden journey in 1997. http://knox.villagesoup.com/p/grande-caribe-declares-rockland-its-home-port/1553519?source=rss
