Three bodies found near explosion site
Indonesian authorities have found three bodies dead in the water near the Barokah Galangan Perkasa shipyard, where an oil barge burst into flames next to the 'Grace V' on Feb 11 and exploded. It was not known if the dead were killed in the blast. The cause of the explosion wa still unclear, and local authorities said no crew members from either the oil barge or the tanker have been reported missing. It was therefore not known whether the three victims happened to be in the vicinity of the explosion, or whether their deaths have other causes. The barge and the 'Grace V' were moored a few meters apart at the shipyard in East Kalimantan, where the violent explosion occurred. It took local rescue crews two hours to put out the fire on the oil barge.
