Two crew members died of inhaling toxic gas

Wed Jul 12 19:48:15 CEST 2017 Timsen

The "Vega Granat" arrived at Buchanan on July 4, 2017, with two dead crew members on board. Both were deckhands, who had been poisoned by inhaling toxic gas. Because of lack of required forensics in Buchanan, the bodies were taken to Monrovia for an autopsy, which was required for the investigation. The ship was detained in port until completing investigations. Both died on July 4 when opening the cargo holds hatches, so probably, they were poisoned by released holds’ fumes.
