Injured crew member medevaced in Phuket

A crew member of the 'Glen' was medevaced and taken to the OrBorJor hospital in Phuket on April 19, 2023. At 8.15 p.m. the Thai MECC 3 was notified by the ship on itts way from Zhoushan to Chittagong that a crew member was injured and needed medical assisstance. The captain requested permission for an emergency stop at Phuket Deep Sea Port on Cape Panwa. A motor boat picked up the injured man and took him to shor, where he was handed over to medical workers and taken to hte Provincial Hospital. As of April 21, the 'Glen' remained anchored off the eastern shore of Phuket.
