Fri Dec 08 09:00:55 CET 2023 Timsen

On Dec 7, 2023, the 'Fairchem Copper', en route from Cartagena to Algeciras, reported that it had located a drifting vessel eight nautical miles southsoutheast of Punta Polacra. The ship took the rubber boat with 19 migrants on board alongside. Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the SAR vessel 'Salvamar Spica', which rescued them and transferred them to Almería.
