On Sep 4, 2021 at around 9:30 p.m., the CROSS Jobourg was informed by the "Hera" that one of its crew members was injured after falling on board. The ship was then 12 nautical miles off Guernsey. The CROSS initiated a conference call with the Toulouse Maritime Medical Consultation Center (CCMM) and the fishing vessel, but communication was impossible. In agreement with the maritime medical consultation center and the maritime medical coordination SAMU of Le Havre, a medical evacuation was decided.
