New vessel, built at Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. for Fujitrans Corporation is now in service

Fri Jul 27 10:32:53 CEST 2018 arnekiel

In June this year the M/V “FUJIKI”, Ro-Ro vessel, owned by Fujitrans Corporation, built at Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. , enter into service fitted with the Main Engine 10UEC50LSE-Eco-B1 produced by Japan Engine Corporation (J-ENG). As Ro-Ro vessel requires high power output, high revolution and limited height due to its engine room size, the engine of it needs relatively small bore size and many cylinders. Moreover the strictly punctual operation is also another requirement for Ro-Ro vessel. 10UEC50LSE-Eco-B1 engine, as the first engine of 10 cylinders with 50cm bore class, has a feature to meet all these requirements and other engine builders have no comparable lineup, therefore the increase of application of the engine to Ro-Ro vessels is highly expected. J-ENG, as the only global and independent licensor of marine diesel engine, which has a throughout business structure from the development, design, manufacturing, marketing and the after-sales servicing, will continuously move forward to innovate and provide the best main engine solution for owners.
