Ship anchored in English Channel after fuel injector problems

The "Frisian River" suffered fuel injector problems in pos. 51 09 N 01 26 E on Jan 14, 2018, while en route from Sas van Ghent to Le Legue with a crew of six on board and a cargo of fertiliser. The ship has left the southwest lane of the Traffic Separation Scheme at the southwest Goodwin light buoy and dropped anchor in position lat 51 09 15N, long 001 26 57.6E. The Dover Coastguard has been informed about the incident and that it was expected that it would take approximately three to four hours to repair the fuel injectors.
