Scrap ship under tow to Delfzijl
On Jan 27, 2017, the "Frisia V" was taken in tow by the tugs "Anna 7" (MMSI: 244670907)and "Hendrik" and transferred to Groningen to be broken up jointly with the "Anna 7" after the DA Schiffsverwertung in Papenburg ceased operating. The convoy arrived at Jan 31. Arrival at the breaker
The "Frisia V" berthed at the DA Schiffsverwertung in Papenburg in the afternoon of Nov 27. A deal with the Coonatramar in Punt Arenas (Costa Rica) had perviously failed due to financial problems.
