Master of chemical tanker medevaced
The US Coast Guard medevaced the master of the "FPMC 28" near Southwest Pass, Louisiana, on Feb 20, 2017. The Coast Guard Sector New Orleans watchstanders received a call at 5:45 a.m. of a male suffering from chest pains aboard the chemical tanker, and launched a Coast Guard Air Station New Orleans MH-65 helicopter aircrew at 7:45 a.m. The aircrew arrived on scene at 8:20 a.m. and transferred the survivor to West Jefferson Memorial Hospital at 9:20 a.m. The patient was reported in stable condition.
