Trawler grounded on the breakwater of Skagen
The 'FN 267-Emilie' ran aground on the outer breakwater at the port entrance of Skagen on Dec 2 at around 5.30 p.m. At 6.45 p.m. the lifeboat 'FRB 08' of the rescue station of the port and the trawler "Astrid Marie" lay by the ship. The lifeboat couldn't pull the trawler free as it was sitting hard on the rocks and remained on standby in case something unexpected happened. After a while, the trawler slipped off the rocks and was followed by the liofeboat to the quay, While there were no injuries reported, the damage to the trawler has not yet been fully assessed.
