Person who stole items from other passengers arrested in Piraeus
On the early morning of Dec 19, officials of the Port Authority of Tzelepi were informed by a crew member of the 'Festos Palace' that a person stole small items from other passengers on board. When the ship docked at the port of Piraeus and following instructions from crew members, officers of the Port Authority arrested a 22-year-old man for violation of article 372 of the Civil Code. theft. Passenger died on board
On the early morning of Dec 15, the Tzelepi Port Authority was informed by the crew of the 'Festos Palace' that a 79-year-old Greek passenger had died in his cabin. The ship sailed to the port of Piraeus, en route from the ports of Heraklion and Milos, and the body was picked up by an EKAB ambulance and transferred to the General Hospital of Nikaia ¨gios Panteleimon, where he was pronounced dead. The 1st Tzelepi Port Department of the Central Port Authority of Piraeus, which was conducting the preliminary investigation, ordered an autopsy at the Forensic Medical Service of Piraeus.
Passenger injured during disembarkation
The Port Authority of Heraklion was informed about the injury of a passenger of the 'FEstos Palace' in the morning of May 3, 2023, in the port of Heraklion.
