The lifeboats "Theo Fischer" of the DGzRS Station Barhöft," Hertha Jeep" from Stralsund and "Nausikaa" from Hiddensee in vain tried to refloat the tallship, but only with the Support of the Stralsund based tug "Delphin" they managed to pull it off and tow it back to Stralsund at 4 a.m. on July 8 where itwas subject of inspections before a decision was made if the ship may continue the voyage to Rostock. The ship was detained on Aug 8 in the port of Stralsund. On Aug 9 divers were sent down to check the hull for damages, and at 10 a.m. the "Eye of the Wind" was released and headed to Rostock.
