Allision in Baltimore

On Jan 6, 2018, at 4.50 a.m. the "Orion Highway", approaching the Dundalk Marine Terminal, Baltimore, allided with the containership "Ever Laurel" which was moored at the Seagirt Marine Terminal. There was minor damage to both vessels. The "Orion Highway" sailed from Baltimore on Jan 7 at 02.10 a.m., the "Ever Laurel" followed at 9.15 p.m.

Evergreen Marine Christened new Ever Laurel at Samsung Shipyard

Ever Laurel, the fifth L-type containership of Evergreen Line, was christened by Ms. Molly Mok, Chairwoman of Evergreen Marine (Singapore), at the Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard last week (September 12, 2012). Ever Laurel belongs to Evergreen Marine (Singapore) Pte Ltd. The L-class containership is 334 meters in length, 45.8 meters wide, with 942 reefer plugs and a draft of 14.2 meters. The vessel can cruise at a speed up to 24.5 knots. The ship will join Evergreen Line’s Far East – Europe routes after delivery this month.
