Damaged bow getting repaired
On Aug 21, the "Eurocargo Genova" entered the drydock of the Malta Dry Dock to get the damages repaired suffered in an allision with a concrete block at the port of Barcelona when departing to Livorno. The upper bow section had been repaired afterwards but at a look to the class status it showed this repair and another at the bowthruster was imposed to the owners on May 17 with due date of Aug 19. Catamaran ferry underway to Naples after allision
On Apr 17 the "Eurocargo Genova" which had suffered a breach in its port side hull in ist allision in Barcelona, left the port again at 2 p.m., where it had docked at Moll Ponent since Apr 12 at 3 p.m., and was expected in Naples in the morning of Apr 20. Grimaldi ferry allided with concrete ramp
On Apr 12, 2013, shortly before 9 a.m. the "Eurocargo Genova" allided with a ramp at the port of Barcelona when departing to Livorno. The ship which was carrying trucks was carrying out maneuvers in port when it suffered an engine blackout and hit the concrete ramp. The ship suffered significant bow damage above the water line.
