Container ship spotted adrift boat with two occupants
On May 27, 2021, the 'Ensemble', while enroute from Cadiz to Dublin, participated in the rescue of two people aboard a 2-meter boat of the La Caleta Nautical Club two nautical miles of the Castillo de San Sebastián. Eastern winds had blown them away from the coast. The container ship spotted the boat and was first on scene, followed by the Helimer 201 helicopter and the SAR boat 'Salvamar Suhail' from the Salvamento Marítimo station in Cadiz at 7.23 a.m., which took them aboard and landed them in good condition in the Puerto América. Ship drifted off Land's End
The "Ensemble" on Dec 20, 2018, at 02.45 a.m. went adrift due to a faulty injector en route from Bilbao to Liverpool with a crew of 11 on board in position 50 07 04 N, 005 58 02 W, 10,5 miles off Land's End. The vessel was carrying 6790.6 tonnes of containers. After the cylinder head was changed, the ship resumed its voyage and berthed in the Royal Seaforth Dock of Liverpool on Dec 21 at 6.50 a.m.
