Technical failure in Istanbul Strait
The 'Emine Anne', en route from Varna to Diliskelesi, suffered a technical failure during its passage of the Istanbul Strait on Feb 21, 2020, and dropped anchor at Büyükdere at 03.30 a.m. Repair works were carried out by the crew, and the ship berthed in Gebze on Feb 22 at 1.25 a.m
Technical failure in Istanbul Strait
The "Emine Anne", being route from Odessa to Diliskelesi, experienced technical failure during the Istanbul Strait passage, at Sariyer point on Feb 23, 2018, at 11 p.m. Subsequently, the ship shifted to the Buyukdere anchorage under its own power. Repairs have commenced by the crew at the anchorage. The vessel resumed the passage upon completion of permanent repairs and arrived at Diliskelesi on Feb 25 at 10.10 a.m.
Grounding on Bozcaada breakwater
On July 20, 2016, at 0732 a.m. the "Emine Anne" got out of control and stuck on a breakwater in the Bozcaada district of Çanakkale. The ship was en route from Constanta to Ancona with a cargo of 1330 tons profile iron and a crew of nine. The captain requested assistance from the Dardanelles Strait Vessel Traffic Services Office which dispatched the Coastguard boat "Kıyı emniyeti 9".
