Oil filter issue off Teesport
The 'Marian R', en route from Leith to Fowey with nine crew members on board, suffered an issue in the oil filters on May 20, 2022, at 4.55 a.m. UTC. The engineer stopped the main engine in position 54 59 39 N, 000 37 40 W about 27 nautical miles off Teesport. After he confirmed the oil filters had been cleaned, the vessel was underway again at 5.30 a.m. with an ETA as of May 22.
Blue Carmel underway again
On Nov 2 at 11.30 p.m. the "Blue Carmel" was allowed to continue the voyage to Aveiro and was off the Dutch coast the following foremidday. The ship had suffered a dent at the foreship near the anchor and scratches amidshup. The "OOCL Neva" had only suffered minor damage. Collision in Kiel Canal
On Nov 2, 2011, at 2.30 p.m. the "OOCL Neva" sailing eastbound from Hamburg to St. Petersburg was in collision with the "Blue Carmel" which was westbound coming from Gdansk, between canal km 42,3 and 43 between Breiholz and Oldenbüttel. Both ships suffered slight damage. The "Blue Carmel" berthed in Brunsbuettel for further investigations at 5.30 p.m.
