Ferry suffered techncal trouble
On Nov 5, 2019, the 'Eira' suffered technical trouble so that the route Aukra - Hollingsholmen was temporarily shout down. The ship was sidelined in Aukra in the afternoon due to technical problems, and just before 5 pm it is stated that an alternative route was set up with sailings from Mordalsvågen to Aukra: at 5.45 p.m. and 7.15 p.m. and from Aukra to Mordalsvågen at 4.15 p.m. and 7.45 p.m. An alternative route was also set up for the route Solholmen - Mordalsvågen with sailings from Mordalsvågen at 5.15 p.m., 6.45 p.m. and 8.15 p.m. and from Solholmen at 5.30 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8.30 p.m. There was an alternate route on Nov 6 with a departure from Aukra at 5 a.m. and a departure from Mordalsvågen at 6 a.m. At 6.45 a.m. the 'Eira' returned to normal operation with a first sailing from Aukra.
Ferry suffered technical trouble
On May 28, 2019 at 08:30 a.m. the "Eira" was withdrawn from the Aukra - Hollingsholmen route due to technical problems. A technician was sent aboard the ship to carry out repairs, and the ferry returned to operation. However, delays had to be expected until further notice.
Trap door damaged in storm Dagmar
The "Eira" running between Magerholm and Sykkylven suffered a technical failure in the evening of Dec 27 so that the trap door could not be opened at Ørsneset , so that the vehicles aboard were caught. The storm Dagmar had caused water damage to the electrical system at 8 p.m. Finally the crew opened the trap door using msucle power. Travelers waited for about an hour.
