Bulkcarrier disabled off Victoria
The 'Takeshio' lost propulsion on April 21, 2020, south of Victoria, British Columbia. The ship was taken in tow by the Coastguard tug 'Atlantic Eagle' (IMO: 9199103), and pulled to Victoria anchorage where she was moored on Apr 22 at 1 a.m. for repairs by the crew. Next bulkcarrier aground on Amazonas
The "Takeshi" an aground on Nov 10, 2015, on the Amazon river in front of Santarém, while proceeding up the river to Manaus. The vessel was loaded, with wheat and got stuck three miles from the bulk carrier "Nilos", which was resting aground since Oct 27.
