In the morning of Sep 24, 2018, the bulkcarrier "Star Grip" broke lose from its mooring at the pier in Brake. The ship allided with the berthed "S Bronco" which sustained slight damage, some scratches and grazed paint. It could leave the port bound to Port Canaveral at 5.15 p.m., ETA Oct 9. The "Star Grip" then drifted into the fairway of the Weser. The crew managed to start the engine and hold the ship within the fairway against current and wind. Around midday pilot boarded the ship, and the tugs "Bugsier 1" and "Bugsier 6" were called from Bremerhaven to take the ship in tow in Golzwarden. At 2 p.m. it was moored at the North Pier in Brake. Collision off St. Petersburg
On Jan 25, 2018, at 9.30 a.m. the "S-Bronco", having sailed from Studstrupværkets on Jan 13, struck the icebreaker "Mudyug" (IMO: 8009181) during ice channeling in the Morskoy Seaway in the St. Petersburg approaches. The bulk carrier sustained bow damages two meters above the waterline. There was no visible damages on the icebreaker. Both ships continued moving through the ice, and the "S Bronco" was berthed at the Gutuevs Quay in St. Petersburg the same day.
