Allision off Kartal

On Nov 21, 2024, the Cameroon flagged "Marla Orca" , which was anchored off Kartal, started to drift due to strong south-west wind. The ship allided with the"DSK1, which was also anchored offshore, and suffered damage when the two ships were rubbing against each other. The 'Marla Orca' was moored in pos. 40° 52' N 029° 11' E, the 'DSK1' in pos. 40° 52' N 029° 11 E as of Nov 22. Technical failure in Bosphorus

The 'Leda', while en route from Hereke to Kavkaz, suffered a technical failure at Uskudar point in the Istanbul Strait on Jan 30, 2021, at 10 a.m. The vessel returned to Istanbul anchorage, under own power and dropped anchor at noon. The crew carried out repairs, and the ship resumed its voyage with an ETA as of Feb 3.

Cargo ship grounded on Don

The "Leda" ran aground on Apr 11, 2018, at 04.10 a.m. on the river Don near buoy 121 at Azov. The ship got stuck while sailing downstream with a pilot on board and a cargo of 2.436 tons of scrap metal on board, bound from Rostov for Samsun. Several attempts to refloat the "Leda" with the help of two tugs failed, now a more powerful ship was contracted by the owner which refloated the vessel on Apr 16.
