Fire in engine room

On Feb 1, 2016, around 11 a.m. a fire broke out in the bow thruster compartment of the "Attesa", 1167 ts (EU-No.: 02315576) on the Outer Maas near Dordrecht. The lifeboat "Tjepke Ekkelboom" and a fire boat were alerted and able to get the fire soon under control. The crew of three was not injured. The ship which was enroute from Dordrecht to Antwerp returned to Dordrecht-Gravendeel with help from the "RPA 24" of the Port of Rotterdam Authority and the fire boat South Holland.
