A huge container vessel has departed on its maiden voyage from a port in Jiangsu province. The CSCL Mercury is a 14,100 TEU (twenty-foot equivalent unit) container vessel, with a length of 366 meters, width of 51.2 meters, and deadweight of 155,470 tons.
