Bow Dalian to be investigated first

Mon Sep 30 09:15:24 CEST 2019 Timsen

The fire aboard the chemical tanker 'Stolt Grönland' at the Yeonpo Pier in Ulsan was finally exitinguished on Sep 29 at 11 a.m. A joint investigation will be done by the Ulsan Maritime Police and Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology to determine the cause of the explosion. But even though the fire has been fully extinguished, it was still unsafe to board due to the petrochemicals that were inside the vessel. The Korea Coast Guard has placed an oil containment boom around the vessel in case of any oil or chemical leak.Investigators have planned to start examining the 'Bow Dalian' first.
