Contrary to a previous report, MS Maureen S (IMO 850 982 0) did not suffer any defects. Of Course, MS Maureen S will continue to serve her business partners in good and seaworthy condition. Entgegen einer vorherigen Meldung bestand bei dem MS Maureen S (IMO 850 982 0) zu keinem Zeitpunkt ein technisches Problem. Selbstverständlich steht das MS Maureen S auch weiterhin seinen Geschäftspartnern in einem einwandfreien und seetüchtigen Zustand zur Verfügung.

Repair in Cuxhaven

The "Katharina Siemer" berthed at the Mützelfeldt Yard in Cuxhaven on Nov 25 around 11 a.m. for repairs of the damage suffered on starboard side in collision with the "Angon" (IMO: 9320635) on Nov 24. In the evening of the collision it had proceeded to Cuxhaven and timewise docked in the Amerika Port. The "Agnon" meanwhile shifted from the North West anchorage off Brunsbüttel to the South anchorage the same day around 5 p.m.

Collision off Brunsbüttel

On Nov 24, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. the "Katharina Siemer" was in collision with the coaster "Angon" on the North West Anchorage off Brunsbüttel while enroute Sczeczin-Le Legue. The ship was breached on 3x5 metres at starboard side and suffered water ingress. The accident happened in dense fog. The ship was ordered to remain on the anchorage by the police Brunsbüttel.
