Arrest in Singapore

The Singapore Supreme Court has arrested the 'Circle Harmony' at the Singapore East Anchorage on Dec 9, 2023, at 4.05 p.m. The arresting solicitor was the Helmsman LLC. As of Dec 13, the ship remained stationary in pos. 01 14 57 N, 103 52 44 E, two nautical miles from Kusu Island.

Grounding in Santos Bay

The "Ocean Opal" ran aground in the Santos Bay at the coast of São Paulo while leaving the city's port on July 15, 2019. The "Ocean Opal" had loaded sugar at the warehouse docks 20 and 21 in Santos. The incident occurred between the buoys 2A and 1A of the navigation channel close to the open sea. There were no other ships in the vicinity. The ship veered to the starboard side and got stuck. Three hours later, at dawn, two port tugs were able to refloat the freighter which continued its voyage to Jebel Ali, ETA Aug 12. The Navy, has opened an investigation to determine the cause of the grounding.
