Collision in the Kattegat

On Sep 3, 2018, at 5 p.m. the bulkcarrier "W Smash" was in collision with the "Charlotte P - FN 131" in the Kattegat. The bulkcarrier had sailed from Wilhelmshaven at 2.40 a.m. and was bound to Riga, ETA Sep 6, 4 a.m. The fishing vessel entered the port of Skagen at 8.50 p.m. On Sep 4 at 8.15 a.m. it berthed at the yard in Strandby. The Danish Maritime Authority The Danish Maritime Authority boarded the bulkcarrier upon its entry in the Great Belt area and questioned the crew. In the evening of Sep 4 it was released after the investigation was completed.
