20 migrants interdicted off Point Loma

Thu Feb 20 09:26:44 CET 2025 Timsen

The crew of the CG 'Haddock' interdicted 20 migrants aboard a 30-foot-panga-style vessel approximately 21 miles west of Point Loma, on feb 18, 2025. At approximately 4 p.m., a U.S. Customs and Border Protection Air and Marine Operations patrol aircraft sighted the sailing vessel and notified watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector San Diego.
