Collision on the North Sea

On March 31, 2021, at 3.30 a.m. the 'LS Jamie', while enroute from Le Havre Anchorage to Salt End, was involved in collision with the fishing vessel 'Alexis II-Z.85' (MMSI: 205320000) west of the Borssele wind farm. Both the vessels suffered minor damage to the starboard side above the waterline. No assistance was required. The trawler returned to Dunkirk, the tanker moored on Immingham Anchorage in pos. 53° 34.94' N 000° 25.14 E on April 1.

Medevac off Le Havre

On May 1, 2014, around 7:30 p.m. the semaphore Villerville Joburg informed the CROSS Joburg that a crew member of the "LS Jamie" complained of chest pain. The tanker was then 11 nautical miles (20km) off Le Havre enroute to Hamburg. The CROSS Joburg immediately organized a conference call between the chemical tanker, the Centre for medical consultation in Toulouse and the medical coordination Maritime in Le Havre. A medical evacuation by helicopter Marine was recommended. A Dragon 76 helicopter of the Civil Security and a medical team Hwere deployed to conduct the hoist, and the patient was transferred to the hospital Jacques Monod in Le Havre.
