Trawler from Guilvines broke down

Mon Nov 10 22:20:15 CET 2014 Timsen

On Nov 10, 2014, the "Cassiopée" broke down around 4 p,m, off Penmarc'h. It was towed by two lifeboats to port. After the trawler had suffered a mechanical problem nine miles northwest of Penmarc'h, the CROSS Corsen dispatched the lifeboat of St. Guénolé, the "Prince Eckmühl" to tow the boat and its crew of three to shore. A second lifeboat, the "Le Men Meur" from Guilvinec, came to attend the "Prince Eckmühl" and escorted the convoy to port of Guilvinec which was easier to access than St. Guénolé.
