Rimorchiatori Augusta takes delivery of Damen ASD Tug 2810 Capo Boeo

Damen Shipyards Group recently delivered an ASD Tug 2810 to Rimorchiatori Augusta. The vessel, named Capo Boeo, is operating in the Sicilian Port of Augusta. Rimorchiatori Augusta is a new venture for the Rimorchiatori Riuniti Group and this is the first new vessel for the company, demonstrating its commitment to future operations in the port, the company said in its press release. Capo Boeo arrived in Sicily on 2 December having sailed on her own keel from Damen Song Cam Shipyard in Vietnam. The client selected Damen due to requiring a fast delivery time for their vessel. Damen’s Vietnam yard is able to guarantee that thanks to its serial production. The state-of-the-art shipyard fulfils the Damen philosophy of series production, producing 40 standard Damen tugs per year up to 60 metres in length. http://en.portnews.ru/news/231579/
