Koch signs new charter for Diana Shipping capesize

Greek dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has entered into a new time charter contract with Koch Shipping for 2005-built capesize Baltimore. The new contract commenced earlier this week and is for a period of 19-22 months at a rate of $15,000 per day. Koch was paying $18,050 per day on the previous contract.

Koch Shipping Hires Diana’s Capesize Bulker Vessels

Athens-based dry bulk owner Diana Shipping has entered into a time charter contract with Singapore’s Koch Shipping for one of its Capesize dry bulk vessels. Under the contract, the company’s m/v Baltimore would be hired for a period of twelve to fourteen months. The 177,243 dwt Capesize, which commenced the charter on June 6, is to work at a gross charter rate of USD 18,050 per day.
