Propeller damage off Brest
The 'Calypso One' suffered a propeller failure and was diverted to the port of Brest where she docked on Oct 22 at 5.50 p.m. for repairs. The ship must receive spare parts on Oct 25 or 26 at the 5th North Pier where she was received by her agents, the company UAT. The ship was transiting from Dordrecht to Santa Cruz de Tenerife when the damage to the starboard retractable propeller of hydromaster type occurred which needs to be replaced. She left the port again on Oct 27 at 4.10 p.m. and headed to Tenerife with an ETA as of Nov 3.
