Nordstern to carry waste from Naples to Netherlands
The "Nordstern" on Jan 7, 2012, at 8 a.m. docked as planned at Pier 44 in the port of Naples in order to transport the waste abroad, as stated in an agreement between Asia, the City of Naples and the company Paesi Bassi Avr. The ship, most likely, will leave Jan 10, with a cargo of about 33000 tons of waste from Campania Stir. The waste will then power an energy plant in the Netherlands.
