Engine fire turned down by fire suppression system
The "Bree Sant" suffered an engine room fire in the port of Hoorn in the midday hours of Mar 16, 2012. Smoke was seen emerging from below deck which turned out to be vapors of a modern fighting system. The fire rescue was on scene around noon with three engines and thoroughly inspected the ship which was berthed at the Veermans Quay with rebreathers to make sure nothing was smouldering.
