Boston Express taken in tow in North Pacific
On Dec 15, 2013, the "Boston Express" was on tow of the tug "Koyo Maru" in the North Pacific in the area of 49N 173E, proceeding in southwest direction at a speed of some 7 knots, odin.tc reported. Ahead of the convoy was a low-pressure zone. The vessel which was en route to Takoma got disabled south of Aleutian Islands on Dec 9. The salvage tug "Koyo Maru" was then contracted for salvage or for towage and left Kushiro on Dec 10.
