BONNE ANSE

On May 9, 2011, the "Bonne Anse" recovered the capsized 6-m-pleasure boat "Daurade II" which had capsized around 3 p.m. The liefeboat "Magnum III" had already saved one man one kilometer north of the l'Ile de Noirmoutier off Herbaudière. The patrol boat "PM 102", the "Bonne Anse", the buoy tender" Phares et Balises ", an aircraft of the Coast Guard, a helicopter of the Gendarmerie St Nazaire, a helicopter of the navy base in La Rochelle and zodiacs of the the fire rescue Herbaudière were looking for the skipper. When the crane of the "Bonne Anse" turned the hull around, the missing person was found lifeless underneath. He could not be revived and was declared dead at 4.45 p.m.
