Bulkcarrier destroyed railway bridge

The 'Bluebill' allided with the Chagres River railway bridge over the Panama Canal on June 23, 2020, at 5.40 p.m. The ship was transiting Canal from the Pacific towards the Atlantic, coming from Balboa. The bridge was severely damaged. Train traffic was interrupted for 16 days. The ship dropped anchor in pos. 09° 6.71' N 079° 42.26' W. Engine trouble in Saint Lambert lock

The 'Bluebill' suffered a main engine problem, while approaching the Saint-Lambert lock of the St. Lawrence Seaway, in position 045 30 12N, 073 31 14W, on Aug 4, 2019, at 05.45 a.m. The vessel stopped in the lock for repairs. It berthed at the Termont Viau Container Terminal in Montreal on Aug 5 at 3.50 p.m.
